2017: A Year in Review

In 2017 I was living the dream. Unfortunately, part of that dream was a nightmare.

Shout out to It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for some much-needed laughs during the latter part of the year.

That was my 2017: a lot of progress in my professional life overshadowed by personal tragedy. The Tubbs Fire obliterated just about every physical memory of my adult life just when I was finally getting my adult life to where I had always wanted. That's not to say that I don't recognize my luck: I'm safe, healthy, and have a lot to be thankful for. It's just that 2017 was a lemon of a year.

At least I know what to do with the lemons. Happy New Year.
