Story Acceptance!

Friday started off great when I woke up to discover that Brilliant Flash Fiction had accepted my story, “A Ruse on the Altar of Heaven.” (Out June 30th!) The story concerns a robot butler who comes up with a ‘creative’ way to solve a problem that could mean his permanent deactivation. It’s also the first genuinely funny story I’ve ever sold, making it a small but notable highlight of my nine-year career publishing short fiction.

Anyway, it’s been a good day. Tonight, I’ll be spending my modest honorarium on some celebratory sushi. :)
